I already have a degree. Is this right for me?

Workplace training is designed to compliment your existing skills set and prior qualifications.
What is a Nationally Recognised Qualification?

A nationally recognised qualification is an accredited training program that meets the standards set by the government, ensuring the qualification is officially recognised across the country and valued by employers across the industry. This course will provide you with a Nationally Recognised qualification.
How many hours per month will I need to train or study?

Classroom training is conducted once a month for 3-4 hours, across 12 months. Your manager will organise a time for you to complete your course during your work hours.

An element of self-paced study will be required for each unit of competency you complete.
What happens if I miss a class?

You will work with your trainer to ensure you have a chance to catch up.

Is this the same qualification I would get from TAFE?

Yes. This is a Nationally Recognised Qualification, meaning it is regulated by Australian accreditation boards and is recognised as a formal qualification in the same way that TAFE qualifications are.
Do I have to do homework or study at home?

The courses will be conducted during work hours when most of the assessment tasks will be completed.

However, if your work is not completed during the class time, you may need to finish items such as theory questions at home or other period of time available during work hours.
I have a lot of experience already why should I do this?

This will be an exercise in formalising your existing experience and provide you with a Nationally Recognised Qualification.
Are there ANY costs?

No. This entire training program has been paid for you will not have to pay anything at all.

In fact, you will get paid to learn as this takes place under company time.
